Why is it that I only like hot girls for sex, and only like nerdy girls for relationships?

I don’t but like when I go out with the hot popular girls all I would think about is sex and those relationships would go by quickly. But when I go out with the nerdy girls I like spending time with them and going on dates and stuff and those relationships last a lot longer. Is this normal?
